YOUTH COLLABORATION ACROSS BORDERS: A THANKSGIVING SERVICE TO REMEMBER
On the evening of August 30, 2024, the ACK MMC's Main Sanctuary in Mombasa, Kenya, was filled with a spirit of unity and joy as youths from ACK MMC, Mombasa, and St. Mark's Luwero, Uganda, came together for a joint Thanksgiving Service. The sanctuary buzzed with vibrant energy as the youths showcased their unique talents through heartfelt worship, praise songs, and inspiring testimonies between the two groups, leaving the congregation in awe. This historic event has laid the groundwork for more cross-border collaborations between the youth ministries of ACK MMC and St. Mark's Luwero. Plans for a future joint mission trip were hinted at, reflecting the shared commitment to empowering young people to serve God and their communities wholeheartedly. Indeed, the Youth Thanksgiving Service of August 2024 will be remembered as a shining example of how faith and fellowship can transcend borders and unite people from different walks of life in the pursuit of a common purpose.
